Akron, Ohio based Metal band Ira Hill have announced that they will be supporting O’Kingdom on “The Lost Souls Tour”. This will be the 4th national tour in the last year for Ira Hill and their second visit to Texas since SXSW in March of 2016. The band is touring in support of their Just Keep Swimming EP which is available now on iTunes.
O’Kingdom will be releasing “Anthem For The Lost” on June 22nd recorded at Random Awesome Studios with Josh Schroeder (King 810, The Color Morale, In Hearts Wake, The Plot In You). The band recently released a music video shot by Jeremy Tremp (Luke Holland, The Word Alive, Slaves) for their single “Bloodline,” which was premiered through Revolver Magazine.

SPOTIFY X GIRLS ROCK CAMP FOUNDATION
Girls Rock Camp Foundation (GRFC), which offers funding for the 50+ nonprofit Girls Rock Camps (GRC) around the United States, has partnered with music service Spotify to create Spotify Scholarships. These Spotify Scholarships will provide full tuition to 100+ girls from low-income families across 22 camps for summer 2016.
Girls who attend week-long GRC programs learn an instrument, form a band, and write an original song which they perform in a showcase at a live music venue – many campers’ first rock show ever. Audiences are treated to heart-rending and hard-rocking performances from campers who have created their own T-shirts, made zines, and chosen band names like The Kool Kids and The Sweet Tarts. Many camps also offer video production, recording and engineering, and music industry basics. Girls learn leadership skills and collaboration, building confidence that extends to every area of their lives.
