LA hip-hip artist Broderick Batts has just dropped his new single “SheDGAF”. Produced by Tizhimself, “SheDGAF” once again shows Batts’ precision of seamlessly weaving rapping and singing. The sound balances the realm between a night at home passing around a joint and a night out passing around a bottle. Broderick explains “My producer (tizhimself) and I had an exciting moment where we both realized we had a similar taste in 90s music, most of them being Seattle grunge bands. We immediately got together and starting cooking up songs that had the same melancholy vibez, SheDGAF being one of them.”
With vibes similar to PARTYNEXTDOOR, Drake, or Tory Lanez, Batts sounds like someone you already know. And, you just might as his recent single “Kate Moss 1989” landed a Track of the Week placement at both HotNewHipHop and Pigeons & Planes.
