RONDA ROUSEY SETTLES BATTLE OUTSIDE RING
Ronda Rousey and her former manager, Fight Tribe Management (FTM) President Darin Harvey, announced today that they reached an amicable resolution of their legal disputes. FTM and Rousey had been in litigation over the terms of their management agreement since March 2014, shortly after Rousey and Harvey parted ways.
Harvey and FTM started managing Rousey in 2010, as Rousey was transitioning from Olympic judo medalist to MMA. While under FTM’s management, Rousey achieved unprecedented success. In addition to winning her first three amateur bouts she went 8-0 as a professional and became the first female to sign with the UFC, a goal she and Harvey set when Rousey turned pro in 2011.
Along with FTM partner Geneva Wasserman, Harvey also collaborated with Rousey to chart a path beyond MMA, helping her land early publicity on her way to becoming a crossover star.

CUT SNAKE US TOUR
Riding the waves of success following the release of last year’s Life’s a Beach EP, Australian production duo Cut Snake announce their spring North American tour and their follow up release, Magic, a two-track release set for March 11th on Warner Bros. Records.
A run of dates kicking off next month and spanning through April, the tour will make noted stops at venues including Sound in Los Angeles, San Francisco’s Audio, San Deigo at Bang Bang, and The Mid in Chicago, with several forthcoming stops to be announced. Ahead of their foray, the duo will perform in their native Australia at Mixmag’s Sydney Lab this Friday, February 19th, with the full set available to stream the following day.

Tendonitis was originally founded back in 2003. Ever since these early days their target was not to follow any short-living trends but to create their own kind of heavy metal music. The assembly of an adequate troop to achieve their vision took almost 10 years and several lineup changes, the last being the entry of vocalist Ben during fall 2013. Since 2009 Tendonitis have played gigs around Zurich and thrilled the audience with their energetic and authentic sound. Keeping up the audio diversity, the band members are inspired by very different influences. So it’s no wonder that Tendonitis cannot and doesn’t want to fit into any particular genre. Let’s call it melodic, thrash, black or heavy metal – the band somehow manages to combine harshness, profound lyrics and unique melodies into an atmosphere that cannot be described with common attributes and needs to be experienced.

BOBBY LONG’S VINYL RELEASE “ODE”
ODE, the vinyl version of Bobby Long’s latest CD release ODE TO THINKING, will become available everywhere on March 4, following its November debut as a RSD First selection for Black Friday Record Store Day. Since their 2011 inception, Gainesville’s Frameworks have quietly become a favorite of many in the emotional hardcore scene. The band creates music in the vein of Touché Amore, Explosions in the Sky, Envy, and other powerful artists and have been hailed by critics and fans alike as “an intensely sincere heart-on-sleeve sort of post-hardcore” (Stereogum).
After a string of EP’s in their early years, Frameworks released their Loom album on Topshelf Records in 2014. Recorded with engineer Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Joyce Manor), the album was well-received worldwide and the band toured relentlessly in support of it. Most recently, Frameworks released the Time Spent EP (also on Topshelf), which shows a darker side of the band as they incorporate experimental instrumentation into their sound.

WALK THE MOON SET TO RELEASE LIVE ALBUM
Critically acclaimed band WALK THE MOON is set to release their first ever live album entitled You Are Not Alone (Live At The Greek) on February 26th via RCA Records at all digital retail providers. The album will feature songs recorded from their sold-out Los Angeles show at The Greek Theater during the second leg of their “TALKING IS HARD” Tour this past fall.
