In case you missed it, earlier today Panic! At The Disco stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to perform “Victorious”.

PRETTY SISTER “DRIVE”

WE ARE TEMPORARY NEW SINGLE BEFORE YAHOO! PREMIERE

Following a lead single and video that touched on themes of death and acceptance, We Are Temporary continues to mine through dark matter with his emotional follow-up single, “Who’s Going to Love Me Now?” A desperate and disillusioned song, this single struggles with the reality that love is defining, that we are who we are remembered to be, that our life and legacy are given essence by the people who love us.

TIM HOCKENBERRY NEW ALBUM

Tim Hockenberry is a versatile multi-instrumentalist singer and songwriter whose voice is reminiscent of Ray Charles, Joe Cocker, and Tom Waits. He is releasing Tim Hockenberry, his self-titled debut album of all original music, worldwide on March 4th, 2016. He is also a gifted interpreter of well-known cover songs, and you only need to hear a few bars of Hockenberry singing I Left My Heart In San Francisco to understand that this is an artist who has a refreshingly authentic approach to great songs.

Tim gained international fame when he performed and made it to the semi-finals (last singer standing) on America’s Got Talent in 2012, where he was a favorite of judge Howard Stern. Stern declared Tim’s semi-final performance of John Lennon’s Imagine, with Tim on the piano accompanied by a cellist, “the most moving we’ve had from a singer in a long time.” The sparse arrangement won Stern over, who gave him a standing ovation and said the singer deserves “a place in the finals.” Sharon Osbourne described his performance as “very true” and “refreshing,” adding, “I thoroughly enjoyed it.” Howie Mandel said he could listen to Tim Hockenberry sing “all night long.”

“PEACE AND LOVE”

“This song wants to be a message of Peace and Love for people women children who are suffering because of war, violence, health problems, but it wants to be also a message of peace for the world in this particular period.

The most important thing for me it’s the message I hope this song reaches hearts of people, the major surgery changed my life …I understood the meaning, the importance of family, friends, I only wanted peace and love….we can mistake but there is always a new chance to change.”

BIG FREEDIA FEATURED ON NEW BEYONCÈ SINGLE “FORMATION”

Yes, that is Big Freedia, the Queen of New Orleans Bounce, booming: “I like cornbread and collard greens, b*tch!” on “Formation,” Beyonce´’s new–decidedly socially conscious– track that beautifully pays homage to her southern roots.

“When I got the call from the Queen B,” explains Big Freedia, “I could barely contain my excitement. Beyonce´ is such an inspiration and the video is a masterpiece.”

LEE HARVEY OSMOND RELEASE SET FOR MARCH 25 VIA LATENT RECORDINGS

When Tom Wilson released 2015’s Beautiful Scars, his third album under his alternate moniker, Lee Harvey Osmond, he was just beginning to grasp the full irony of using an assumed identity. Turns out Wilson had been living his entire life under one — a fact he didn’t learn until his 55th birthday, when his cousin confessed she was really his mother and his heritage was Mohawk, not Irish.

That’s why the cover depicts Wilson as a powerful and raw figure, warrior-like — someone who looks as if he’s still wild. “That’s actually how I feel as an artist,” Wilson explains. “At 56, I’m just emerging from the woods, with all of this new knowledge of who I am.”

BAD PONY “ZOMBIE”

Restless and ambitious, Bad Pony have released new material less than a month after concluding their massive 17 date Limbo Tour. The Sydney five piece have taken a sonic step away from their Debut EP Limbo and presented a darker, heavier epic ‘Zombie’.

SUAVE NEW SINGLE

In some ways, Suave’s “Hard Grind”, his recently released single featuring fellow NOLA native Melaphyre, is both an ode to New Orleans’ historical musical contributions and an indictment of a social and political climate that has made the city increasingly difficult to navigate as a professional artist.

Like many of the nation’s rapidly gentrifying urban centers, The Big Easy is in danger of losing core elements of it’s magnetic and enchanting culture thanks to low wages, high costs of living and new codes that penalize culture bearers for disturbing the city’s growing population of affluent transplants.

THE ERKONAUTS’ “MACHINE” VIDEO

Metalsucks have premiered the official video for “Machine” from creatively eclectic Swiss dynamos THE ERKONAUTS. The song is taken from the upcoming Kaotoxin Records reissue of I Did Something Bad. Welcome yourself to the “Machine” at this location.

Metalsucks recently praised I Did Something Bad in stating: “It is, perhaps, a bit reductive to say The Erkonauts are picking up where SYSTEM OF A DOWN left off, but the comparison is ultimately apt: I Did Something Bad fe-ruiningly hooky, mosh-inducingly aggro, and philosophically bleak-yet-witty. We can assume from the album art that these dudes are Kubrick fans, and it shows in their approach to music.”

It’s an intoxicating mix that has brought the band considerable international success. RAY LAMONTAGNE ANNOUNCES MEMBERS OF MY MORNING JACKET AS TOURING BAND ON UPCOMING 2016 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR

Grammy Award winner Ray LaMontagne announces Bassist Tom Blankenship, drummer Patrick Hallahan, guitarist Carl Broemel and keyboardist Bo Koster (My Morning Jacket) as the touring band for his upcoming 2016 North American Tour. The band will join Ray on the 45 city tour will start in Cincinnati, OH on June 10th and culminate in Dallas, TX on September 24th.

Ray stated, “I am very pleased to announce that the band for the upcoming “Ouroboros” Summer Tour will be Tommy Blankenship, Carl Broemel, Bo Koster, and Patrick Hallahan of My Morning Jacket.

We’ve been throwing this idea around for quite a few years now, and the stars have finally aligned. There has been such positive spiritual energy flowing throughout this entire project. From that first restless night’s sleep when the album made itself clear to me, to the recording of the Album at La La Land Studio with Jim, to getting a call out of the blue ten months later that the Jacket boys wanted to back it up on the road.

There is some serious mojo surrounding this record and I think it’s going to be a very, very special run of shows.”

RÜFÜS DU SOL ML REMIX

Once again, MK has delighted us with his rework of “Say A Prayer For Me,” the latest single from Australia’s popular dance trio RÜFÜS DU SOL. The song got its first play on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 Live Broadcast from LA when MK featured the remix. It quickly became the most listened-to track on iPlayer.

MK’s version keeps much of the breathy vocals while chopping up the song to create extra melodies in his trademark style. MK manages to keep warmth of the bassline while still speeding up the original for a more club friendly vibe.
