LONDON TRIO FLOWERS PREMIERE HEARTFELT “BITTER PILL”

There’s something great about a three-piece—think The Cocteau Twins, TheClean, Galaxie 500—and the way that irreducible nucleus takes its strength from its limitations, making a virtue of its purity. And so it is with London trio Flowers, returning with their second album Everybody’s Dying To Meet You in February 2016 via Fortuna Pop! (EU) and Kanine (US). Over the course of ten intensely thrilling pop songs, singer Rachel Kenedy’s ethereal vocals and Sam Ayres textured guitar is backed by the powerful, metronomic beat of drummer Jordan Hockley.

AirPlay Direct, the leader in independent worldwide radio distribution and promotion, announces the addition of their 10,000th registered radio station. AirPlay Direct brings music from over 40,000 artists and record labels to listeners in over 90 countries across the globe. The revolutionary AirPlay Direct system, with over 3.5 million songs downloaded to date, dominates this new standard for delivery by providing artists with an affordable alternative to the high cost of traditional radio promotion.

The music industry today provides a number of challenges for artists, labels, and agents as they work to get music into the hands of radio stations and DJs. SABRYNA “DON’T MOVE”

The video – directed by AplusFilmz, the creative team who has worked with Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q and K Camp – is just part one of two from the playful mind of this emerging artist.

Says Sabryna on the video, which was filmed in a warehouse in downtown Los Angeles, “My team is unique – we are all creatives who demand that our product reflects this and empowers us. We wanted to break the rules on what ‘pop’ girls should do in a video. The “Don’t Move” track is fun, young and upbeat, but we wanted the video to be a juxtaposition of that vibe. I believe in “yin-yang”; I’m also a huge fan of the TV show Dexter. Inspired by his yang, we looked to my own dark side and let that manifest the video.”

INFUZE X FATHER DUDE

After meeting at a StéLouse show at Glasslands in Fall ’14 and hearing Father Dude perform unreleased material, Infuze immediately knew he needed to work with the NYC based vocalist. The two started working together in Brooklyn at Infuze’s studio, stockpiling songs and massaging an already complimentary sound that appealed to their sense of 80s pop, musical craftsmanship and hard hitting dance music.

“The best part of the whole thing is that we’re never in a rush to release, the way it usually is with collabs. We’ve developed organically over a significant period of time.” – Infuze

G-FREE X TERMANOLOGY

G-Free ft. Termanology – “First Serve Basis”:

OVER SANDS VIDEO “GYROSCOPE”

Over Sands have dropped the video for ‘Gyroscope’, a track from their self-titled debut EP which dropped at the end of last year and delighted the attention of tastemakers both sides of the Atlantic.

Allowing the surrounding environment to flow naturally into their recordings, Over Sands wrote the EP during several weeks isolated in a remote beach house off the English East coast. The hypnotic ebb and flow of the tide – marooning the brothers from the rest of civilisation twice a day – gave inspiration to their debut’s multitude of sounds.
