Chris Brown, the Grammy Award winning and multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter, enters at #1 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and #3 on the Billboard 200 chart with Royalty. This chart entry marks Brown’s biggest first week sales debut since his 2011 album F.A.M.E.; making it his sixth #1 solo album debut on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and his seventh Top Ten solo album debut on the Top 200 chart.

Leading up to the December 18th release of Royalty, Brown kicked off release week with three special sold-out “Royalty Live” concerts in Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Additionally, Brown released a series of daily video premieres for album tracks “Back To Sleep,” “Wrist” feature Solo Lucci,” “Anyway” featuring Tayla Parx, “Picture Me Rollin’,” and “Little More (Royalty)” featuring a cameo by his daughter Royalty.


Cage the Elephant’s fourth studio album Tell Me I’m Pretty debuts at #3 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums Chart and #3 on the Billboard Alternative Albums Chart. The album was released on December 18th and lead single “Mess Around” held the #4 spot on the Billboard Alternative Radio chart and #3 and #4 on Mediabase’s Alternative and AAA Formats, respectively. Cage the Elephant will perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on January 5th, 2016.

Cage the Elephant will be playing at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA on January 19th and at iHeart Theater in Los Angeles, CA on January 20th, which will be broadcasted live across the country on iHeart stations and online. They will also open for Metallica in San Francisco at AT&T Park on February 6th on the eve of Super Bowl 50 and perform at Hangout Music Festival in May 2016.


Southeast DC’s representer Lightshow unleashes a new music video for his hit single “M.O.B.” The visual directed by Chop N Shoot Films was released over the holiday weekend as a special gift to the fans. “M.O.B” can be found on his If These Walls Could Talk mixtape available now on Spinrilla.
