Music icon Cyndi Lauper adds to her vast history of memorable holiday classics with her new cover of “Hard Candy Christmas.” Famously recorded by Dolly Parton and written by Carol Hall, the song originated in the play and film The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas. This adds to Lauper’s veritable canon of Christmas songs which includes her classic album Merry Christmas… Have A Nice Life and legendary collaborations with Frank Sinatra (“Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”) and The Hives (“A Christmas Duel.”) The track can be heard here and will be available at all digital download and streaming outlets this Friday, December 11.
