ANTONIO JAMES DEBUT SINGLE

As debut singles go, Antonio James’ first musical foray “Midnight Mirror” is a brilliant introduction to the London producer’s chillwave sound. Standing out from the crowd, the track is a wonderfully unapologetic take on neo-R&B. Add to this a multitude of subtle hooks and James’ haunting vocals, and you come up with a track that’s incredibly refreshing on the ear.

TINY FIREFLIES “GHOST”

Recently, Chicago’s Tiny Fireflies teamed up with renowned and revered music website CMJ to premiere the group’s brand new track Ghost .

“It’s a delicate bit of gossamer synth-punk that floats like cloves smoke out an apartment window, and infers that their album might be a perfect platter for an intimate, cold winter eve’s dinner party.” Eric Davidson, CMJ

“‘Ridin Round’ is about accepting your past and everything you are, even the not so good parts,” Uchis tells Noisey. “I wanted to highlight where I’m from (in Colombia), my culture, and real people. There are no actors, the family in the video is my family. We filmed the parade on the street I used to live on when I was little. The production team, Cumbia Films, was an all-Colombian team based out of Cartagena. It was a lot of fun to make this with my family and involve everyone, I never felt so happy making a video.”

“DREAM OF FIRE” VIDEO

This is ‘Dream Of Fire’, the maybe most driving and catchiest song on Lydmor & Bon Homme’s upcoming album ‘Seven Dreams Of Fire’.

It’s an anthemic, expansive slice of motorik disco that brings together two complementary voices – the husky drawl of Tomas Høffding, singer-bassist of experimental Danish pop trio WhoMadeWho, and rising singer-songwriter Jenny Rossander aka Lydmor (literally ‘Soundmother’) whose vocals run the gamut from seductive siren to strident rap. Instantly catchy and relentlessly buoyant, it’s a tune that whirls you far away from mundanity, lifting you up on its lush, layered pads and glimmering keys.
