CRAIG GREENBERG NEW SINGLE
Singer-Songwriter, and modern day “Troubadour piano man,” Craig Greenberg has just officially released his new single, “That Girl is Wrong for You,” via Bandcamp. From his upcoming record, The Grand Loss & Legacy out May 15, “That Girl Is Wrong For You” marvelously showcases his exceptional musicianship and keen melodic sense, and his trademark native New Yorker personality, spunk, and swagger comes through in his dynamic vocals. Greenberg’s sound dances the line of roots to soul, and rock to indie. Reminiscent of piano songwriter greats like Ben Folds, Billy Joel, Leon Russell, Greenberg manages to create a sound that is both familiar and unique. Aside from his New York roots, much of Craig’s sound and personality developed from his time living abroad, performing in the bars and on the streets of Chile and Spain in the early 2000s.
ROGER WATERS’ PORTRAIT OF A DISTRACTED SOCIETY, AMUSED TO DEATH, CELEBRATED WITH REMASTERED RELEASE
Roger Waters’ album AMUSED TO DEATH returns in a remastered release from Columbia Records / Legacy Recordings on July 24th. Amused to Death sounded the alarm about a society increasingly – and unthinkingly – in thrall to its television screens. Twenty-three years later, Amused to Death speaks to our present moment in ways that could scarcely have been anticipated two decades ago.
“I’m remembering the record from [over] 20 years ago, that most of what I had to say then sadly still pertains today and is maybe even more relevant to our predicament as people in 2015 even than it was in 1992,” says Roger Waters.
HIGH ON FIRE NEW ALBUM IN JUNE
World-renowned power trio HIGH ON FIRE will release its highly-anticipated new album, Luminiferous, on June 23 via eOne Music. Recorded at Salem, Massachusetts’ GodCity Studios with producer Kurt Ballou, the record is the follow-up to the group’s 2012 release, De Vermis Mysteriis, an album hailed as “not for the faint of heart ” by The New Yorker and “a fantastically constructed bloodbath” by Entertainment Weekly.
Universally recognized as one of the most potent acts in music today, HIGH ON FIRE creates molten heavy metal that merges primal fury and aggression, blackened bombast and hall of fame heaviness. The group’s seventh studio album, Luminiferous, is a supersonic exercise in conquest by volume, delivering calculated catharsis as a volcano of revolving riffs and hailstorm of thundering drums combine to beam a blazing spotlight towards the future of modern metal music.

CHELLEY “TOOK THE NIGHT” REMIX
Six years after it topped the US charts, Chelley’s influential club anthem “Took The Night” has received a G-House makeover by genre pioneers Amine Edge & DANCE. Scheduled for release on March 30th via Ultra Records, the remix sees the duo return to the label following their rework of Erick Morillo’s “Devotion” – amongst further remixes for the likes of Tiga and Andy C – and continues their rapid rise to prominence for 2015.
In tune with Chelley’s outspoken and ubiquitous lines of “every time I walk in the club they hatin’ on me ’cause they know I look good,” Amine Edge & DANCE’s signature style of attitude-heavy house music is a perfect fit for the remix – and sees the duo construct a brash, yet contemporary club track that’s laced with chunky basslines and snappy vocal hooks.

JESSIE BAYLIN’S NEW ALBUM ‘DARK PLACE NOW’ REVIEW AT NPR MUSIC
Jessie Baylin’s highly anticipated new album, Dark Place, is now streaming in its entirety exclusively at NPR Music as part of their First Listen series. Of the music, NPR Music praises, “Swift shrouds Baylin in lush, stylized strains of orchestral ‘60s pop a la Nancy Sinatra, as well as coolly atmospheric ‘90s dream-pop, rife with icy synth pads, gauzy reverb and lacerating guitar tones. At the center of it, Baylin is artfully, magnetically elusive, sounding as though she’s choosing to keep the deepest, most ineffable depths of her emotions to herself—profoundly moved by motherhood, but not defined by it. What a gift to give a daughter.”
