On March 23rd, Chicago-based songwriter Steve Grand independently released his debut album All American Boy. This morning, the album debuted at #3 on the Billboard Independent Albums Chart and #27 on the Billboard Top 200 Charts ahead of other new releases by Smallpools, Big Data, Laura Marling, and Odesza – a massive achievement for an independent artist releasing an album on their own label (Grand Nation).

“Releasing my first album has been my dream since I was a little kid. I am so grateful for the support of my fans.” says Grand. “I am blown away by how well this album has done in its first week. I believe that is a testament to the accessibility of ‘All-American Boy.’ It’s not just for one kind of person, or one group of people. I am proud that as a songwriter I was able to hit on so many points on the spectrum of human experience. The release of All American Boy has been a huge success, and thank to the support of my incredible fans, I know this is just the beginning.”
