YARDSSS & EX REV COLLABO

Portland experimentalists Yardsss have teamed up with Philadelphia’s Ex Rev in collaboration on a new single titled “Ex’sss”.  The two met during a show they played together at Philly’s Kung Fu Necktie in the fall of 2012.  Given their similar approach, though varying in sentiment and direction, they kept in touch and later decided to work on a piece together, uploading and sharing files through the label’s web server from opposite ends of the country, which resulted in the “Ex’sss” single; a swirling, droning and cacophonous build, shrieking and discomfort lay underneath a steady and constant melody; representing the truth that is buried under the facade.
