CD BABY INTRODUCES SINGLES PROGRAM

CD Baby, the world’s leading online distributor of independent music, announces the launch of a digital singles program. For only $9 per track, CD Baby will digitally distribute the song to their large network of download stores, including iTunes, Amazon MP3, Rhapsody, Spotify!, CD Baby and many more.

The one-time $9 signup fee per song includes digital distribution to all partners, and for a limited time, a free UPC barcode. Songs are typically live on www.CDBaby.com within 48 hours of uploading, and are immediately delivered to partner companies like iTunes.

Brian Felsen, CD Baby President, says, “Independent artists are changing the way they interact with their fans by continually putting out new music. CD Baby gives musicians the flexibility of releasing full albums, EPs, AND singles, so artists can interact and engage with fans more often. Now musicians can sell singles as soon as they’re mixed, put out an EP every three or four months, and then finally compile the best of the best material into a full album by year’s end.”
