Justin Bieber has just released the video for “Never Let You Go.”   The clip was shot in the Bahamas and features the 16-year-old singing and getting cozy with a lucky young lady.   Bieber’s My World 2.0 is the currently the most downloaded album on iTunes.

ADAM LAMBERT TO PERFORM AT GLAAD AWARDS

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Adam Lambert will perform at next month’s Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards.   The singer is also nominated for Outstanding Music Artist.   The GLAAD Awards, which take place in L-A on April 17th, will pay tribute to Wanda Sykes and Drew Barrymore.

TRAIN & JUSTIN BIEBER TOP ITUNES CHART

Train’s “Hey, Soul Sister” is the number one most-downloaded song on iTunes this week.   The track, which has been in the top ten for weeks, nabs the top spot for the first time.   Taio Cruz’s “Break Your Heart featuring Ludacris, “Rude Boy” from Rihanna, B.o.B’s “Nothin’ On You” featuring Bruno Mars and “Telephone” from Lady Gaga and Beyonce round out the top five.   Justin Bieber’s My World 2.0 is the top downloaded album, followed by Monica’s Still Standing, Volume Two from She & Him, Need You Now from Lady Antebellum and Justin Bieber’s debut, My World.  

MIKA RELEASES “KICK ASS”

Mika has released a brand new song as part of the soundtrack for the upcoming film Kick Ass.   The track was produced by RedOne, best known for his work with Lady Gaga. The song is the title track to the film, which is based on the popular comic book series.   The soundtrack is in stores now.   Check out the clip at MikaSounds.com.  

KATY PERRY TALKS NEW ALBUM

Katy Perry has just revealed some information about her forthcoming sophomore album, the follow-up to her hit debut One of the Boys.   MTV News recently caught up with the pop star on a red carpet, and she said that it will be released this summer.   She also described the effort, saying, “It’s roller-skating! It’s ’90s! It’s Ace of Base! It’s Cyndi Lauper!”   Perry also said that “there might be some really cool guest appearances by some cool rappers from the West Coast.”   She recently posted a picture on her Twitter of herself with Snoop Dogg, so could she be alluding to a collaboration?   Learn more at MTV.com.

IS RUSSELL BRAND “BRIDEZILLA?”

Is Russell Brand really like bridezilla?   Well fiancée Katy Perry sure seems to think so.   The “I Kissed a Girl” singer told MTV News recently that the comedian is always “buying bride magazines” and is a “total bridezilla.”   No official word yet on when the two are planning to tie the knot.

PATRICK STUMP TALKS SOLO ALBUM

Patrick Stump recently talked with MTV News about his new solo effort. The Fall Out Boy frontman told the outlet the direction of his solo disc has changed and evolved as the future of F-O-B has been less and less clear. Stump also talks about the funkiness expressed in his solo music and says that has a lot to do with his experimentation with this music. VANILLA ICE WORKING ON NEW ALBUM CALLED WTF

In case you were wondering what Vanilla Ice has been up to, we just found out the “Ice Ice Baby” rapper is working on new material. According to DigialSpy.com, the ‘90s emcee will be releasing a new album titled WTF sometime this year. In addition, Ice wrote on his official MySpace page, “The album is awesome! It’s called WTF for a reason, and you will understand that reason when you hear it.” He added, “It has everything from techno to hip-hop to country to acoustic. It will blow you away!

CIARA’S NEW SINGLE TO FEATURE LUDACRIS

According to Rap-Up.com, Ciara’s lead single from her fourth studio album will boast a guest feature with Ludacris. Jive Records confirms the upcoming song is titled “Ride” and marks the third time the entertainers have joined forces — they previously worked together on Ci Ci’s hit single “Oh” as well as on “High Price” from her last album, Fantasy Ride. Though Ciara’s as-yet-untitled LP has no release date, fans can expect the disc to drop this summer.

USHER RELEASES VIDEO FOR “OMG”

AMY WINEHOUSE DELAYS ALBUM

Amy Winehouse has reportedly had to delay the release of her next album, the highly anticipated follow-up to 2006’s Back to Black.   British paper the Daily Star is reporting that the embattled singer has decided to scrap some tracks because they were negatively directed at ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil, with whom she has since reconciled.   A source said, “Amy has written some of her best songs ever for this album but she now feels like they don’t belong.   She’s not going to put out an album just because her record company wants her to, so it’s back to the drawing board.”

MADONNA BRINGING HER KIDS BACK TO MALAWI

Madonna is bringing adopted children David and Mercy back to their home country of Malawi.   According to British paper The Sun, Madge and her family will head to Africa sometime next week so the kids can meet their families that they left behind.   A source says that “she sees it as vital they understand their roots.”   It will be Mercy’s first time seeing her family since Madonna adopted her last summer.

MADONNA WORKS WITH DAUGHTER ON FASHION LINE

We recently reported that Madonna was going to be releasing Material Girl, a fashion line for juniors that will be available at Macy’s later in the year.   Well the pop star didn’t have to look very far to find inspiration, because according to the Associated Press, Madge’s daughter Lourdes helped her create Material Girl.   About working with her daughter, Madonna said that she “respects her tastes” and that they “rarely disagree.” Material Girl is due out in the fall.

MORE OPENERS ANNOUNCED FOR BON JOVI SHOWS

We reported yesterday that Train is set to open up for Bon Jovi at the first show ever at the new Meadowlands stadium, and now, some information has come out about the second and third shows as well.   Both will still feature Bon Jovi as the headliner, but opening up for the band on the second night will be Gavin DeGraw, and then on the third will be OneRepublic.   The shows are set to take place on the 26th, 27th and 29th of May.

CHRIS DAUGHTRY TALKS ACTORS, ACTING

CHRIS BROWN CAN’T FIND BIRTHDAY VENUE?

According to Bossip.com, Chris Brown is apparently having a difficult time finding a venue to host his 21st birthday. The gossip site reports the R&B singer has tried to secure a location at clubs in New York, Miami and Las Vegas, however many of the club-owners don’t want to “ruin their relationship, or their potential relationship with Rihanna.” The singer is now said to be looking to host the party at a private residence or restaurant in Manhattan.

NE-YO PENS “INCREDIBLE” SONG FOR KELLY ROWLAND

SingersRoom.com reports Kelly Rowland is currently working on her third album with hit singer-songwriter Ne-Yo. The former Destiny’s Child member stated that working with the hitmaker maker her happy “because he thinks about the story and the artist. He wants to talk about where they are mentally. That’s what makes him so incredibly great.” Kelly is also said to be working with “When Love Takes Over” collaborator David Guetta for her upcoming project. No release date or title has been confirmed yet.

LINKIN PARK RELEASE GAME

Linkin Park have released a new song via their new mobile game Linkin Park 8-Bit Rebellion. The application game features the spanking new tune “Blackbirds” and is a multi-player action-adventure game for fans who, after they get the app, are also treated to remixes of some of Linkin Park’s biggest hits. BLINK 182, GUNS N’ ROSES TO HEADLINE READING AND LEEDS

GREEN DAY TALK NEW ALBUM

MTV News caught up with Green Day recently and the band got to talking about their new album. The group said they’re currently in the songwriting phase for the disc, which will be the follow-up to their 2009 album 21st Century Breakdown. Singer Billie Joe Armstrong told the outlet that they are trying to get back to the basics, which the singer says at first made them sound like crap. The effort is still a work in progress and for now, fans will just have to be happy with catching the Broadway play, American Idiot, which features Green Day’s music.
