LADY GAGA TALKS GRAMMY PERFORMANCE

TAYLOR SWIFT WANTS TO BE ON GLEE

Glee seems to be everybody’s favorite show at the moment, and it’s no exception for Taylor Swift.   Just before winning her three GRAMMYs, including one for Album of the Year, the country star told E! News that she’s loving the hit FOX show, and that she would “love to see what they would do” with her as a part of it.   Perhaps it’s not too far fetched — Taylor is starring in the forthcoming movie Valentine’s Day, which hits theaters soon.

KINGS OF LEON WRITING NEW ALBUM

Kings of Leon started off the week with three GRAMMY wins for their song “Use Somebody.” Later that night, the Nashville band revealed to MTV Radio that they’re already working on a new album, the follow-up to their 2008 disc Only By The Night. After admitting that they’d had some celebratory drinks, frontman Calab Followill said he doesn’t expect too many collaborations on the new effort as they make him nervous. No word as to when the new music will hit stores.

MARY J BLIGE COMMENTS ON BEYONCE’S SUCCESS

Beyonce racked up six GRAMMY Awards on Sunday night and made history by being the first female ever to do so. This feat only further separates the entertainer from her peers and proves why she’s the hardest working woman in show business. RIHANNA MAKES “CLASSIC ALBUM” WITH RATED R

Rihanna believes that her latest album, Rated R, is a solid body of work and could even be considered one of her best. According to ContactMusic.com, Ri Ri explained, “We made a great album, which was my intention in the first place. That makes this a classic album for me.” She added, “I want to evolve and keep changing and I want my music to reflect that.” Be sure to get you copy of Rated R, available in stores now.

KERI HILSON, AKON PREMIERE “AFRICA” VIDEO

JAY-Z TALKS BEYONCE AND KIDS

During a recent interview with Sweden’s Kingsize magazine, Jay-Z talks about marriage life with Beyonce and about having children. People assume they have the perfect union, but Hova states, “I don’t think there is such thing as a perfect relationship. It is unrealistic and hoping for too much. I don’t think it is worth all that pressure. We also have our struggles and problems.” When asked if he wants kids now, the mogul explained he’d “like to be a dad some day” and he “loves” children. However, Jay believes, “You start your life with expectations and dreams, then life unfolds and it doesn’t always turn out the way you imagined. Life is what it is. And at this point it’s up to somebody else.”

EMINEM’S ADVICE TO DRAKE

Performing at the GRAMMY Awards may not be anything new for Eminem and Lil Wayne, however it was Drake’s first time playing such a huge event. MTV News reports Slim Shady gave Drizzy advice just before the trio performed “Forever” at the ceremony. Drake stated, “He was like, ‘Man, anytime you need to look over at me, don’t get nervous. Just look over at me, man, and I’ll give it back to you. Everything will be all right. Don’t be nervous.’ For him to say that to me – I feel like that was an important moment. It was nice.”

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS DEBUT NEW GUITARIST

Red Hot Chili Peppers played their first show with their new guitarist, Josh Klinghoffer, this past weekend at the 2010 MusiCares Person of the Year Gala celebrating Neil Young. The band played the classic 1972 Young tune “A Man Needs a Maid.” Josh joined the Chili Peppers in early January after John Frusciante announced in December he was leaving the group. Josh is 31 years old and has toured with the likes of Beck and Gnarls Barkley before getting the new gig. Learn more at RollingStone.com.

KELLY CLARKSON WANTS TO HELP ANIMALS

Leona Lewis may get all the credit for being an animal lover, but Kelly Clarkson is one too!   The original American Idol took to her Twitter page to write that she “just saw the saddest humane society commercial” and that she “can’t believe how cruel people are to animals.”   She went on, asking fans who are considering bringing her presents at her shows to instead, donate to the humane society, a gesture she called the “best gift.”   Follow Kelly at Twitter.com/Kelly_Clarkson.

ROB THOMAS PART OF “WE ARE THE WORLD”

A NAKED WEDDING FOR KATY AND RUSSELL?

There’s no doubt that Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s wedding will be a spectacle, but will it be naked?   According to People.com, the comedian joked that they will be taking their vows nude, and that “all the families will be naked” as well.   He then got a little more serious saying that there are no “juicy details” to reveal quite yet.

DOES AMY WINEHOUSE LIKE THE LADIES?

Does Amy Winehouse like the ladies as well as the guys?   According to British paper News Of The World, the “Rehab” singer allegedly told some close friends that she “likes girls as well” and has had “relationships with other women.”   She supposedly went on, saying that she doesn’t care what people think about her being bi-sexual, and that she does “what feels good.”   Learn more at NewOfTheWorld.co.uk.

MADONNA INVESTS IN COCONUT WATER

Madonna has just become involved in a new business venture.   According to the New York Post, Madge has become so infatuated with drinking coconut water, that she has invested 1.5-million dollars in New York based company Vita Coco.   Supposedly, Madonna is already making suggestions about new products and is recruiting some celebrity friends to invest, including Demi Moore, Matthew McConaughey and Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.   Learn more at NYPost.com.

SPICE GIRL’S BOYFRIEND ARRESTED

Spice Girl Geri Halliwell’s boyfriend was arrested for cocaine possession over the weekend in London.   According to British paper The Daily Mail, Henry Beckwith, who is said to be worth upwards of 600-million dollars, was searched after being suspected for being in possession of narcotics.   There have been rumors floating around that the couple are not only dating, but are actually engaged.   Learn more at DailyMail.co.uk.

KANYE WEST RESPONDS TO PETA

If you thought Kanye West would stop his ranting in 2010, you were sadly mistaken. On his blog, he takes aim at PETA for criticizing him for wearing fur coats in Paris. ‘Ye wrote in all cap-fashion that he was “briefly saddened by negative comments, but I have to remember those people are scared, incapable or just plain idiots. We are the f***ing rock stars baby. No cocaine, just life!” He adds, “It’s funny to me when fashion bloggers down our outfits and then super jock outlandish s**t on the runway, but they dress mad prude and don’t live fashion.”
