IRON MAIDEN’S MANAGEMENT TO OPEN ROCK HOTEL

Iron Maiden’s management has taken on a new mission: opening a luxury hotel dedicated to musicians. The execs plan to gear the London inn to music’s A-list, with mini-bars hidden inside giant speaker stacks, a desk clerk dressed in black, a bar that serves cocktails 24 hours a day and an open-air hot tub on the rooftop terrace. According to TimesOnline.co.uk, the hotel, called the Sanctum Soho, also boasts heavy security to keep out paparazzi and fans. It’s being dubbed a retreat for both Iron Maiden and other musicians playing in London, but all guests, even the hardest of rockers, are required to be well behaved. The Sanctum is scheduled to open in April.
