MAN WHO SIGNED GN’R KICKED OUT OF LISTENING PARTY

Just because you signed Guns N’ Roses doesn’t mean you get any respect from the band. Tom Zataut learned that lesson the hard way. Zataut, who brought GN’R to Geffen Records in the mid-80s, was unceremoniously kicked out of a Chinese Democracy listening party last week in Hollywood. Tom spoke to Classic Rock magazine, revealing that he got booted because Axl doesn’t like him, though Zataut added, “I wear his hatred as a badge of honor as it would be far worse for him to not care at all.” However, Tom seems unfazed and went on to state, “I love Axl and think Chinese Democracy is a genius body of music.” Zatout did say he was sad and disappointed that after his hard work with Chinese Democracy and always defending Axl’s “genius,” the rocker still dislikes him. Nonetheless, even though Tom got kicked out of the club with three songs left in the playback, he happily listened to the remainder from the sidewalk.
