ERYKAH BADU AND MOS DEF TO STAR IN INDIE FILM
November 20, 2008
According to BlackVoices.com, neo-soul artists Erykah Badu and Mos Def will star in a new indie film called Bobby Zero. Produced by Effie Brown’s Los Angeles-based production company Duly Noted, Mos Def will play the romantic lead in the story about a man who has given up on his artistic aspirations to work at an advertising agency. The film also includes Peter Dinklage and Clifton Collins. But don’t rush to the theaters just yet; filming won’t begin until sometime in 2009, as soon as Badu gives birth to her third child.
