CHRIS CORNELL SPEAKS ON TIMBALAND
November 7, 2008 | by Skope Staff
Chris Cornell says that working with producer Timbaland on his upcoming album Scream has really changed his perspective. In a sit-down with MTV News, Chris divulged that he wants to continue working without a band. He says collaborating with the famous hip-hop producer has taught him a lot saying, “I’ve barely scratched the surface, and I have a lot of catching up to do. I feel like I want to fast-forward into my future of musical expression, because there are just so many different things I haven’t done yet.” Cornell describes Timbaland’s music as “atmospheric” and compares it to Pink Floyd. We still don’t have a release date for Scream, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted. Cornell recently shot a video for the title track so expect to see that soon, too.
