LUPE FIASCO’S ANNOUNCEMENT
November 4, 2008 | by Skope Staff
Lupe Fiaso reportedly announced that his forthcoming LP LupE.N.D will be his third and final album. The “Kick Push” rapper told the crowd last Friday immediately after performing his hit song “Superstar” at Chicago’s Congress Theater. There’s speculation that Fiasco has felt ambivalent towards rap for some time now. Back in September, Lupe told Rap-Up.com at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, “I just don’t really feel like rapping anymore.” But before he gracefully bows out, Lupe is leaving his fans with a three-disc album. Each of them is divided among the letters E, N, and D. The “E” in LupE.N.D. stands for Everywhere, the “N” for Nowhere, and the “D” for Down Here. The project is slated for release next year.
