JOE PERRY IS VOTING FOR McCAIN

Lately it seems that a lot of musicians have come out in support of Barack Obama, but as the election nears, we’re learning that there are rockers out there that support John McCain.  Aerosmith’s Joe Perry told the Boston Herald that national security and economic worries have prompted him to endorse the Republican Presidential candidate.  Perry explained he’s not one to bring his politics into the spotlight but added, “Seeing so many people come out for Obama, I just felt like, ‘What the hell, I might as well raise my hand for this side.’”  The guitarist, who has been a “hardcore Republican” his whole life, isn’t worried about McCain’s age either, stating, “My mother’s in her eighties and she does aerobics.  My manger’s 70 and he’s right there.  That doesn’t bother me.”  You can read more from Joe at News.BostonHerald.com.
