TELEPATHE’S DEBUT ALBUM SLATED FOR FEBRUARY / MP3
October 31, 2008
Telepathe’s full-length debut, Dance Mother, will be released on February 17th on IAMSOUND. Dance Mother sees Melissa Livaudais and Busy Gangnes, the creative pairing at the heart of Telepathe, move away from the jam band aesthetic of their previous groups, and further develop the layered, synthetic sound they began exploring on their Social Registry EP, “Farewell Forest”. Killer melodies, trance-inducing loops, drum-machine-driven experimentation, and Melissa and Busy’s haunting vocal interplay are Telepathe’s hallmarks.

ZEROBRIDGE OFFER UP ANOTHER FREE MP3
October 31, 2008
NYC band zerobridge continues to release a new track every month from July until with end of the year with October’s (saved until the last day) previously unreleased and not available until now selection entitled “How Long” – available as a FREE download.
Here’s a note on the song from lead singer/songwriter Din with more information…
Lead singer/songwriter Din comments on the new zerobridge single: “How Long” originated from an earlier song of ours called “Sunday Morning,” which was a bluesier number influenced by The Rolling Stones’ “Midnight Rambler.” It was a show stopper at one point but we eventually got bored of it. There were still parts of the music I really liked and so I decided to revamp the song. It came together pretty quickly, lyrics and all. I think some of the best rock n’ roll songs are about waiting. It could be romantic like waiting for someone or just longing for a better situation. Lord knows a lot of us are doing that in these turbulent times.”

JOE PERRY IS VOTING FOR McCAIN
October 31, 2008
Lately it seems that a lot of musicians have come out in support of Barack Obama, but as the election nears, we’re learning that there are rockers out there that support John McCain. Aerosmith’s Joe Perry told the Boston Herald that national security and economic worries have prompted him to endorse the Republican Presidential candidate. Perry explained he’s not one to bring his politics into the spotlight but added, “Seeing so many people come out for Obama, I just felt like, ‘What the hell, I might as well raise my hand for this side.’” The guitarist, who has been a “hardcore Republican” his whole life, isn’t worried about McCain’s age either, stating, “My mother’s in her eighties and she does aerobics. My manger’s 70 and he’s right there. That doesn’t bother me.” You can read more from Joe at News.BostonHerald.com.
