JACK WHITE NOT HAPPY ABOUT COKE AD

September 16, 2008 | by Skope Staff

White Stripes frontman Jack White’s got something to say about a new James Bond themed Coke Zero ad, which features music he wrote for the film. A statement from White’s people on Pitchfork reads, “Jack White was commissioned by Sony Pictures to write a theme song for the ‘James Bond’ film Quantum of Solace, not for Coca-Cola. Any other use of the song is based on decisions made by others, not Jack White. We are disappointed that you first heard the song in a co-promotion for Coke Zero, rather than in its entirety.”  Jack recorded the “007” theme song with Alicia Keys. Quantum of Solace hits theatres on November 14th.
