THE LITTLE ONES NEW ALBUM & DATES WITH THE WALKMEN

Morning Tide” (Chop Shop Records) in stores October 7, Tour with The Walkmen begins October 2.

The above sort of praise has been showered on The Little Ones since their self-released mini-album, Sing Song, came out in 2006. And the band’s energetic live show earned them some notable touring—an arena run with the Kaiser Chiefs in the UK, a trek through the U.S. with The Magic Numbers, appearances at the Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits festivals. Still, things haven’t been so rosy the entire time. Although The Little Ones’ shamelessly happy, indie-pop landed them a worldwide major label record deal, a company reorganization earlier this year left the group on their own once again. Eternally optimistic, the band chose to self-release an EP (Terry Tales & Fallen Gates) this past spring and hit the road, playing some key showcases at SXSW before a co-headlining tour with Ra Ra Riot. All that good karma and positivity paid off. Heavenly Recordings decided they couldn’t let this gem of a record go and chose to release it independently in UK. LA-based Chop Shop Records was more than happy to pick up the album in the U.S. Sunny skies for The Little Ones once again!
