UB40 TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM

UB40 announced today that their new album “TwentyFourSeven,” will be released on October 28 via Rhino Records. The band just wrapped up a 17-city tour selling out some of the finest venues across the U.S. including KCRW’s “World Festival” night at the famed Hollywood Bowl. UB40’s first single off the new album, “Dance until the Morning Light,” features guest vocals from Maxi Priest. The highly-anticipated “TwentyFourSeven” marks the band’s 25th studio album as well as the 20th anniversary of UB40’s #1 hit single “Red Red Wine.”
“TwentyFourSeven” takes inspiration from the political and social conscience, producing an album of original material, cover versions and collaborations. The new album features seventeen tracks with collaborations from reggae stalwart Maxi Priest, 1 Love & Rasa Don from Arrested Development, Marvin Priest and Hunterz. The album was recorded in Birmingham, London, Sweden, New York & Fayetteville, Georgia, USA.
