August 28, 2008 | by Skope Staff

Everfine/Atlantic recording group O.A.R. have “Shattered” their own stats as their new single grabs the # 4 spot on the AAA Radio Chart, #12 on the Hot AC radio chart, #53 on Billboard’s Hot Digital Download chart, and #83 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, all grabbing the highest chart positions the band has ever had with a single. “Shattered,” written by lead singer Marc Roberge and Greg Wattenberg, is the first single from their latest album, All Sides, which debuted at #13 on the Billboard 200. The band is wrapping up the first leg of their successful “All Sides Tour” with three shows this weekend with the Dave Matthews Band. They will head out the second week of September for the second leg of the tour.

ESPN has just confirmed that the video and music for “Shattered” will be utilized during their college football coverage of the Ohio State University (OSU) versus University of Southern California (USC) game September 13th. As huge football fans, O.A.R. is extremely excited to be a part of the coverage, especially since the band’s alma mater is Ohio State University and the game pits the #2 and #3 college teams against each other.
