BEEF: 50 CENT VS TACO BELL

July 25, 2008

About a month ago, Taco Bell announced that they wanted 50 Cent to change his name for one day to 79, 89 or 99 Cent to promote their new value menu. The fast food chain also wanted him to rap an order using his new name. One little problem was that they did not ask 50 first. Now, Fif is suing the “Crunch Wrap Supreme” makers. According to the Associated Press, the rapper’s federal lawsuit filed Wednesday says that Taco Bell “sent a bogus letter requesting the name change to the news media but not to the rapper.” 50’s legal team is seeking four-million dollars in damages.
