SUSAN CARR TEACHES YOU HOW TO SCREAM!!!
July 11, 2008
Between 1978 and 1996, Susan M. Carr developed a well-known vocal studio for singers in Seattle. During this time she worked with many of the most important bands in the emerging Seattle rock scene, among them ALICE IN CHAINS, SUNNY DAY REAL ESTATE, and SKINYARD / GRUNTRUCK. Today, Carr continues to teach, working with bands such as the Grammy- nominated MASTODON and MINUS THE BEAR, among others. Many agents and record labels regularly send their talent to Susan because of her skill as a superior technical teacher.
TRAILER:
The key to being ready for the rigors of performing and touring as a vocalist is learning both where the “scream/growl” is actually made and the specific exercises found within the techniques of The Art of SCREAMING! The exercises that Susan Carr first developed in 1978 and refined during the “grunge” music scene have produced outstanding singers in the rock music industry both then and today. Carr prepares her students for the recording, touring, and presentation of their own original material, while her teaching emphasizes strong techniques in power, range, tone and endurance.
The Art of SCREAMING! is set for a July 29th release.

Is this the real video?”
Check out the new video on FNMTV tonight at 8 Eastern on the music channel.
