STING’S DAUGHTER PURSUED BY PETE DOHERTY
July 9, 2008
Sting isn’t just a singer, he’s a father too. And when he found out that his 17-year-old daughter, Coco, was hanging out with notorious drug-abusing singer Pete Doherty, he got a little upset. According to the New York Daily News, Doherty met up with Coco at a London jazz club to help her work on her songwriting skills. It seems though that at a recent music festival overseas, 29-year-old Pete also took a nap in Coco’s tent after he played a set. A source told England’s Daily Mail, “Coco’s father isn’t too happy about her hanging around Pete because of his reputation, and he hit the roof when he heard he had stayed in her tent.” Sting’s daughter is working on her debut album, which she hopes to release next year. The insider went on to explain, “Coco has definitely inherited her dad’s vocal skills and Pete has been raving about her talent. It’s pretty clear he has the hots for her too, which will only worry her dad more.”
