After enjoying much success from all her previous productions, R&B sensation Keyshia Cole is in search of change. Until now, we have heard about her tragic love life and growth experiences, but we might soon be learning about the brighter side of things. Cole confessed that for next album she will like to have more fun.
“I want to broaden my perspectives as much as I can on this next album. I want to open myself up and have more fun, you know, and just have a good time. I have written down some ideas but not yet actually have tracks and things like that not yet. They trying to release it for Christmas; we’ll see if the money is right.”
Keyshia will return to Jamaica on July 18th to take part in the Reggae Sumfest.

Once again, Flo Rida, Day 26, Donnie Klang and Making the Band’s Danity Kane’s concert has been cancelled. The event was not held on its original date of May 9th, and now it will not happen on July 14th as scheduled. But, besides this issue, the guys from Day 26 are enjoying their new video “Since You’ve Been Gone.” Brian, one of the group members, gave us an inside scoop on the production process.
“The video was shot in L-A at the Intercontinental Hotel. The director was Erick White which is one of my favorite directors. I just really love the way he uses his lighting and its colors. Yeah, I mean, can’t really tell you much more your’ gonna have to watch the video and see (Laughter).”

QUOTED: KARDINAL OFFISHALL SAYS AKON HAS THINGS UNDER CONTROL

Kardinal Offishall is starting to make a name for himself with his song “Dangerous” that features Akon. The “Smack That” singer signed the Canadian rapper to his Konvict Muzik label and Kardinal says Akon’s good at running the show.
“He knows what he’s doing, he doesn’t have too much excess baggage. There’s a lot of label with a lot of (whistle), ‘Why is that guy here?’ But he knows what he’s doing.”
“Dangerous” will appear on Kardinal’s upcoming album, Not 4 Sale. It’s expected to hit stores in August.

Leona Lewis was catapulted to international stardom after winning U-K TV talent show The X Factor. She told us what it was like to walk down the street after competing in that show.
“Millions of people watch the show, so it’d be like I was walking into shops and people would be like, ‘Oh, it’s Leona!’ And I’d be like, ‘Oh yeah, I was on this big show. So, it was something to get used to.”
Leona Lewis is set to play Sweden on July 14th.
