50 CENT’S HOME DESTROYED IN “SUSPICIOUS” FIRE

According to MTV News, rapper 50 Cent’s Long Island home has burned to the ground. The blaze started Friday morning and is said to have completely gutted the house. Six people were inside the Dix Hills dwelling at the time of the blaze, including the rapper’s ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, and their son, Marquise. Everyone in the house was sent to the hospital for smoke inhalation and later released. As of press, the fire department has classified the blaze as “suspicious,” but said that 50 is not currently a suspect. According to Newsday, last month, the rapper tried to evict Tompkins and their son from that home unless they started paying him rent.
